The SEED Bush Forum is a knowledge bank and think tank with the purpose of informing our elected representatives efficiently, with relevant knowledge from credible and informed community and business leaders, to be used for authentic analysis of:
economic, cultural and social infrastructure needs;
scale and capacity building objectives, factored for local bias and conflict of interest; and
past activity, projects, funding and realised outcomes.
We intend to achieve:
1. A seat at the table: the opportunity to actively participate in finding practical, informed and considered solutions to local Social Enterprise and Economic Development challenges.
2. A ‘Community Engagement Blueprint’ to open communication between community, industry and government, not a one size fits all solution, but a bespoke blueprint for each region.
3. Assistance to become the masters of our own destiny, so we can partner with government, industry and community to grow into locally powered, proactive communities driving their own economic activity and building local capacity.
4. Support for local Incubation and Acceleration programs, Industry working groups, co-working spaces and PODs, in the Regions not the cities.
